How to Plan an Epic Nashville Bachelorette Party

With the rise of the coastal cowgirl aesthetic, it’s no surprise that the girlies are flocking to Nashville, white cowboy boots in hand (well technically, on their feet), to hit up honky tonk central for their bachelorette weekend.

Nashville is not a hard place to love. If live music, delicious food, and overall great vibes spark your interest, Nashville should be at the top of your bachelorette location short-list. Even if you’re not into the idea of bar hopping Broadway all weekend (and even if you're not into country music at all!), there are ample activity options to choose from in Music City that will suit your whole group and will ensure that you have an unforgettable bachelorette party.

With that in mind, here is our perfectly curated Nashville bachelorette party guide, with all of the restaurant, hotel, and activity recommendations that you could possibly need in order to have the perfect Nashville bachelorette party.

WHERE TO STAY IN MUSIC CITY

There are so many options of where to stay in Nashville - but if you’re going to go there, you probably want to be at least semi in the heart of it all. This leaves you with Music Row, the Gulch, or Downtown/SoBro (we've never stayed in east Nashville though we are sure there are good accommodation options there as well - it will just be further for your bachelorette party to head downtown).

The Best Hotels in Nashville

Our absolute favorite hotel in Nashville for a bachelorette group is the Virgin Hotels Nashville. Virgin Hotels is located just outside of the Gulch, is walking distance to all of the Gulch's restaurants and shops, and is just a quick uber to the downtown area (or you can take a quick ride on one of the electric scooters scattered throughout the city!).

Virgin Hotels Nashville

Virgin Hotels has beautiful hotel amenities, with a stunning rooftop pool and rooftop bar adjacent to the pool area. In the summer months on the weekends, they host pool parties, with a live DJ, ski shots, and lots of dancing. If the bride to be loves pool parties and hitting up a rooftop bar, we highly recommend renting a cabana at Virgin Hotels and going to their pool party as one of your bachelorette party activities. We know - Nashville isn't typically a spot that comes to mind when talking about a pool party, but we promise, this is a bachelorette party must if you're visiting the city! The staff bring out a bubble gun when the bottles come out, and the music and vibes are at an all time high.

This was by far our favorite activity during our most recent trip to Nashville, and the fact that we were staying in the hotel just made it that much easier (i.e. when people were tired, they could easily head down to their room to take a quick cat nap)! Not to mention, the hospitality at Virgin Hotels Nashville is unmatched. We couldn't recommend it enough!

The other best hotels for a Nashville bachelorette party are the Westin Nashville, which has a stunning rooftop pool, 1 Hotel Nashville, and Noelle Nashville.

Alternate Accommodation Options

Alternatively, if you're heading to Nashville for a bachelorette and had more of a vacation rental in mind, there are ample Airbnb's scattered throughout the city that you could choose from. Keep in mind though, that if you're heading to Nashville in the spring or summer months (the busiest time), you should definitely book your accommodations well in advance, since Nashville is a super popular destination for all types of groups. This is especially applicable if you're a larger group and require a certain amount of space!

NASHVILLE BACHELORETTE PARTY IDEAS

If you're planning a Nashville bachelorette party, the great news is, there are a million fun things for you to choose from that will ensure that your group is constantly entertained. We've summarized our favorite activities for the best Nashville bachelorette party below:

Bubbly & Blowouts

If you want to kick off your trip on the best foot possible and pamper your bride - we absolutely recommend starting your weekend in Nashville with blowouts & bubbly at Dry Bar Nashville. This is coming from two girls who got three different blow-outs, on three different occasions, on their three-day trip to Nashville. Dry Bar - we’re still waiting on the collaboration opportunity!

Nashville Pedal Pub

Assuming you’re going to Nashville for a full weekend, you should have at least two fun activities booked for your days. Again, there is so much to do, but our top picks would be the Pedal Pub and Pontoon Saloon. The Pedal Pub is a super fun way to experience downtown Nashville, and you get to see Broadway in daylight - which is honestly just as exhilarating as after dark.

This activity is BYOB (you don't need to drink alcohol if you don't want to), and the driver has lots of games that he gives you to play to keep you entertained, and of course, a fire playlist.

The Pontoon Saloon

There is a bachelorette party package that is perfect for bachelorette and bachelor parties looking to have a good time - it's basically a party barge. There’s alcohol included in your package, and they organize games for everyone on board.

That said, if the bachelorette boat books up, you can go on the Pontoon Party Cruise which is effectively the same idea - a party bus on the water - but with all types of groups, not just bachelorette parties. It's a really great way to see the city via boat!

Pool Party at Virgin Hotels Nashville

We know we know, we mentioned this already - but we truly cannot emphasize enough how fun of a day this was for our entire group and 12/10 recommend it if the weather permits! Our pro tip would be to hire a photographer for an hour (we used @livvieclicks and she was AMAZING), so that the bride has pics of all of her girls having the best time on her bachelorette! Your bachelorette party will be the talk of the town, but isn't that the point?!

Truly, could there be a more perfect photo op than the bride with all of her besties in matching black bikinis?!

Wine Tasting

If the bride to be is into vino, then drive a bit out of town and head to Arrington Vineyards for a few hours to taste some wine. Be warned though, that Arrington Vineyards is about a 45 minute drive from downtown, so if your group doesn't handle car rides well post-wine tasting, maybe take that into consideration.

Go Shopping in the Gulch

Is there any better time to shop than with a bit of a buzz on? After you pop champagne at your bottomless mimosa brunch or finish one of your day (drinking) activities, walk towards the Gulch and explore all the cute boutiques that the town has to offer, including Uncommon James by Kristin Cavallari and Kittenish by Jessie James Decker. Both of these stores (and so many others in the area) have tons of cute knick knacks that your bachelorette party won't be able to resist!

Visit the Historic Sites

Nashville is nicknamed Music City for a reason! The city has such a rich history and if you have any interest in country music (and you want to do something other than bar hop for a couple of hours), you should definitely check out the Grand Ole Opry, and the Country Music Hall of Fame.

Get Outdoors

For the bachelorette parties who want a wholesome, outdoor activity, then head to Percy Warner Park for a hike, and take in the natural beauty of Nashville! There are so many different areas of the city to see that aren't necessarily contained in downtown Nashville.

Line Dancing

That's right! Dust off those cowboy boots and head to a line dancing lesson with Cowboy Kyle at Urban Cowboy Line Dancing. Your group will learn some fun footwork that you can pull out later that night at the bars and line dance the night away!

Dance the Night Away On Broadway

If you're going on a Nashville bachelorette party, you are very likely going to find yourself and the rest of your bachelorette party group in downtown Nashville dancing and singing at the bars until the early hours of the morning (almost every bachelorette party makes their way to Broadway).

Broadway runs East/West, and the quintessential Nashville bachelorette experience would be found at the lower, eastern end, where the blocks are packed with bar after bar. Truly, it's hard to say what the best bars are, because it really depends on the vibe that you're looking for. That said though, we'll do our best to name a few of our favorite honky tonks!

We 12/10 recommend Whiskey River Saloon, where you can have the quintessential experience of riding a mechanical bull. Be warned though - they don’t mess around. Nudie’s, Tootsie’s, and The Stage are other notably fun bars located slightly up the street. The great thing is you can basically bop around to multiple bars in one evening. No matter where you go, there’s live music (you can probably find somewhere to sing karaoke!), semi-reasonably priced drinks, and overall good vibes.

BEST RESTAURANTS IN NASHVILLE

Nashville is a town that is full of amazing food options. Whether your bachelorette group is looking for traditional southern fare, something a bit more on the healthier side, or something totally different, Nashville is a city that has it all. We've summarized our favorite food and beverage spots below bachelorette party should check out while you're in Nashville - but don't be fooled, there are so many others.

FOR DINNER & DRINKS

White Limozeen

White Limozeen is a bachelorette party must. Located on the roof of the Graduate by Hilton Hotel Nashville, White Limozeen makes all your Barbie Dream House visions come to life and is definitely a Nashville bachelorette staple. Go for the themed cocktails, cute photo-ops, and champagne Jello-O shots!

White Limozeen Graduate Hotel Nashville

Twelve Thirty Club

Whether you’re looking for a fun rooftop patio to have drinks before dinner, or a 5-star meal accompanied by live music, Twelve Thirty Club is a supper club that is a must during your weekend in Nashville.

Church & Union

The best meals are the ones where you have no expectations - this was our experience with Church & Union. Our favorite restaurant of our weekend in Nashville by a mile. Service was excellent, and the food was even better. Pro tip: get the burger, you won’t regret it.

Pinewood Social

Pinewood Social has a bowling alley in it so TBH - it's an immediate yes from us! It's located right in downtown Nashville just blocks away from the action of lower Broadway. The food and service are great, and it's a fun spot if you're looking to have some drinks before heading to the rooftop bars for the rest of your night.

Pinewood Social Nashville

Bakersfield

Bakersfield is all about tacos, tequila, and whiskey - need I say more?

FOR BRUNCH

Milk & Honey

Milk & Honey doesn’t take reservations but is apparently amazing. We cannot personally confirm because the line was insane - but judging by the size of said line, it’s definitely on our list of musts. PRO TIP: If a member of your group is an early riser, have them head over and put your name on the list so you’re not stuck with an hour and a half wait.

Hampton Social

Hampton Social is located downtown right off of lower broadway, and is aesthetically very pleasing - the craft cocktails are beautiful, the decor is stunning, and there are even photo ops scattered throughout the restaurant for you to take advantage of. It's a bit on the pricier side since you're definitely paying for the instagram-worthy aesthetic, but it's worth it!

Biscuit Love

Biscuit Love is another Nashville classic. It's located in the Gulch and though they don't take reservations, we have heard that it's definitely worth the wait!
