The Ultimate Guide to the Perfect Bahamas Bachelorette Party

If you’re a bride who loves dancing on the beach with rosé in hand, a boat day with your besties, and dancing to Whitney Houston while belting at the top of your lungs - the Bahamas is the place for you.

Really though, the Bahamas has SO much to offer in terms of activities, stays, and food - no matter what kind of bride you are, you really can’t go wrong.

WHERE TO STAY IN THE BAHAMAS

Enter the first major question when planning a bachelorette party - Airbnb or hotel?

If you prefer the ease of having all of your amenities right at your doorstep (and don’t mind the high cost), we recommend the SLS Baha Mar. Not only is this hotel aesthetically pleasing, but its location allows you access to restaurants and amenities at the Grand Hyatt and Rosewood hotels (Note: as a guest at the SLS, you are not permitted to use the pool at the Rosewood). Plus, you’re right by the casino and jazz bar - but more on that later.

As fun as the SLS Baha Mar is - there’s no hiding that it can be expensive AF. A more affordable option is the Warwick Paradise Island. The biggest benefit to the Warwick: it’s an all-inclusive hotel, so you can toast the bride-to-be with as many Mai Tai’s as your heart desires without stressing about the bill at the end of the trip. It’s also a ten minute walk from the Atlantis if you need a change of scenery.

All that being said, we highly recommend renting an Airbnb. While the upfront costs may be a bit higher, you are going to end up saving SO much money on food and alcohol, and it’s always nice to have your own space with your whole group. Plus, it’s a lot easier to slay the bachelorette decorations! For bachelorette decor - we recommend Perfect Finish Events, they crush it.

WHAT TO DO IN THE BAHAMAS

You can’t go to the Bahamas and not experience the crystal blue water first hand. Accordingly, we HIGHLY recommend renting a boat (this company is amazing) and cruising to Rose Island. There’s a bar there (read: small shack that serves alcohol), good music, and just overall great vibes. Captain Sean is amazing and the boat comes fully stocked with booze. After Rose Island, have your captain take you to the original Gilligan’s Island - it’s a throwback but pretty picture perfect.

For a pool party day, rent daybeds or a cabana at the Privilege Pool at the SLS Baha Mar. You don’t need to be a guest of the SLS to do this, but you do need to pay the minimum spend (i.e. get bottle service). There’s a DJ every Friday and Saturday, and the vibes are immaculate.

WHERE TO EAT & DRINK IN THE BAHAMAS

There are SO many good restaurant and bar options in the Bahamas that there is really no way to cover them all. Some highlights:

Monkey Bar located in the lobby of the SLS Baha Mar, the aesthetic is 12/10 so it’s a cute spot for photos

Sky Bar the rooftop lounge at the SLS Baha Mar with unbeatable views of Nassau

Jazz Bar located in the Baha Mar right next to the casino - they have live music basically every night (think: Whitney Houston and Tina Turner galore), and it is truly one of my favorite places on the entirety of Nassau. Literally - spread my ashes at the Jazz Bar at the Baha Mar

Katsuya the perfect spot for sushi and cocktails - it’s giving Nobu vibes without going all the way to the Atlantis

Marcus a fish + chop house at the Baha Mar - personally, one of the best restaurants that I have ever been to and I am counting down the days until I can go back
