The Ultimate Guide to the Perfect Bahamas Bachelorette Party
If you’re a bride who loves dancing on the beach with rosé in hand, a boat day with your besties, dancing to Whitney Houston while belting at the top of your lungs, and a little bit of luxury - a Bahamas bachelorette party is the perfect thing you for.
The Bahamas has SO much to offer in terms of activities, stays, and food - no matter what kind of bride you are, you really can’t go wrong. The Bahamas has been a pretty underrated bachelorette party destination in the past (i.e. it's not Las Vegas or Miami), but is definitely picking up popularity as brides-to-be realize how easy it is to get to (it's in a perfect location, with direct flights offered by many airlines, including American Airlines and Delta), how great the weather is, and just how much fun the Bahamas is.
So, whether you're planning a girls trip or a bachelorette party, here is the ultimate Bahamas Bachelorette Guide to ensure you have the most memorable weekend in the Bahamas.
WHERE TO STAY IN THE BAHAMAS
Enter the first major question when planning a bachelorette party - Airbnb or hotel?
For a Luxury Bahamas Bachelorette Party: The Baha Mar, Nassau
This expansive resort complex offers everything you need for a top-notch bachelorette party experience. With multiple hotels, pools, casinos, restaurants, and bars, Baha Mar Resorts on Nassau is the ultimate hub for bachelorette parties. Whether you want to spend the day lounging by the pool or hitting the casino at night, we highly recommend staying here.
The SLS Baha Mar features stylish rooms, exclusive pool parties, and access to all the amenities within the resort complex. You and your girls can sip cocktails by the pool, dance the night away at the on-site nightclubs, and indulge in fine dining.
For A More Affordable Bahamas Bachelorette Party: The Warwick Paradise Island
As fun as the SLS Baha Mar is - there’s no hiding that it can be expensive AF. A more affordable option is the Warwick Paradise Island. The biggest benefit to the Warwick: it’s an all-inclusive hotel, so you can toast the bride-to-be with as many Mai Tai’s as your heart desires without stressing about the bill at the end of the trip. It’s also a ten minute walk from the Atlantis if you need a change of scenery.
For Bachelorette Parties Who Prefer a Vacation Rental: Airbnb or VRBO
All that being said, we also recommend renting an Airbnb. While the upfront costs may be a bit higher, you are going to end up saving SO much money on food and alcohol, and it’s always nice to have your own space on a trip with your whole group. Plus, it’s a lot easier to slay the bachelorette decorations! For bachelorette decor - we recommend Perfect Finish Events, they crush it.

WHAT TO DO IN THE BAHAMAS
Have a Boat Day
You can’t go to the Bahamas and not experience the crystal blue water first hand. Accordingly, we HIGHLY recommend renting a private boat (this company is amazing) and cruising to Rose Island. There’s a bar there (read: small shack that serves alcohol), good music, and just overall great vibes. Captain Sean is amazing and the boat comes fully stocked with booze. After Rose Island, have your captain take you to the original Gilligan’s Island - it’s a throwback and pretty picture perfect.

If you have a whole day to explore, organize an excursion to visit the famous swimming pigs on Exuma Island, a unique Bahamian experience that’s perfect for Instagram-worthy moments. With a private boat, you can bring your own drinks, enjoy the beauty of the gorgeous beaches, and go island hopping to your heart’s content.

Party at Privilege Pool
For a pool party day (or if you're tired of the beach), rent daybeds or a cabana at the Privilege Pool at the SLS Baha Mar. You don’t need to be staying in a room at the SLS to do this, but you do need to pay the minimum spend (i.e. get bottle service) to rent the chairs or cabana. There’s a DJ every Friday and Saturday, and the vibes are immaculate.

Food and Drink Tours
Indulge in the flavors of the Caribbean islands with a food and drink tour. You’ll get a taste of authentic Bahamian cuisine, including must-try dishes like conch fritters and fresh seafood. There are several guided tours available in Nassau that will take you through the island's culinary hotspots, giving you the chance to sample local delicacies while learning about the history of the Bahamas and surrounding islands.
